• Freedom: This is really about freedom, one of the reasons for this being that information relies more and more on software.
• Equality: Corporations and individual users, rich and poor countries should be on an equal footing.
• Fraternity: Freedom to help one's neighbour. Society needs to encourage the spirit of voluntary cooperation in its citizens.
